- Host crafts and activities for children at a weekly farmers' market

2019
- Developed library collection based on school population’s needs,
including Spanish language books to meet the requirements of their
bilingual school designation
- Created lesson plans in collaboration with teachers and taught
lessons to fourth grade ELL classes, integrating hypothesis
development and research skills into their folktale unit
- Taught lessons to first grade classes, outside of the library, using
Common Sense Media’s Digital Citizenship curriculum
- Prepared new books for circulation and repaired damaged materials,
such as book bindings and torn pages
- Assisted students with reference, finding books meeting personal
interests and class unit requirements
- Conducted book talks with second, fourth, and fifth grade classes,
with books tailored to both reading level and seasonal events
